DEAR FRIEND AND NEIGHBORS:

The Members of the West Harrison Fire Department are asking for your attention in supporting our Department's Various funds. Your donations also enable our departmet to sponsor and contribute to various community-oriented programs.

The West Harrison Fire Department is staffed entirely by volunteers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This department provides professional fire protection within our entire district. We respond to an average of 225 calla of service annually, as well as conducting fire prevention and awareness to our community's schools, day care facilities, and our senior citizens by request.

All active members of the West Harrison Fire Department are trained in various aspects of firefighting and rescue technques. all our members obtain New York State certifications through the Westchester County Fire Training Center. In addition, the members continually train and perform various tasks at the department's own tranining facility located on Park Lane in West Harrison. 

It is becoming extremely difficult to recruit new members. Your generosity, as displayed in the past, ensures the continued viabiliy of our department. Therefore, we ask you to respond favorably in our time of need.
